This year we collected 4052 pounds of food and $75,825.00 in cash, bringing our 9 year totals to 36,802 pounds of food and $366,260.00 in cash.

Benefiting Gleaners Food Bank

It's that time of year again! When we bring everyone together to help feed our community. Last years "Fill the Skids Feed the Kids" campaign raised 4,368 pounds of food and $53,00.00 in cash with 6 year total donations of 26,368 pounds of food and $149,000.00 cash!

Times are still bad in our industry, and there are a lot of people in our community that are struggling to eat a descent meal. Let's make a bigger difference this year!

As the third-oldest food bank in the United States, Gleaners Community Food Bank's mission has been to turn surplus food, which otherwise would go to waste, into millions of delicious meals for hungry people in southeastern Michigan. For more than a quarter of a century we've been "nourishing communities by feeding hungry people".
